BSD (Buyer's Stamp Duty ) / ABSD (Additional Buyer's Stamp Duty)
Purchasing a residential property in Singapore, depending on the status of the purchasers, there are three kinds of stamp duties (SD) payable on the purchase, sale or take over of the property. They are known commonly as :
- SSD (Seller Stamp Duty)
- BSD (Buyer Stamp Duty)
- ABSD (Additional Buyer Stamp Duty)
BSD (Buyer’s Stamp Duty) is charged on the purchase and take over of any real estate properties in Singapore. The BSD rates in residential properties is dependent on the current status of the purchaser.
